During the design of the warehouse hall it is possible to directly consider the delivery of palette racks or console racks. This optimizes the usability of the warehouse or the hall for storage and manipulation. This maximizes the future space of the warehouse. You can find further information about the racks in the sections of these pages for racks and rack systems.
Shelf racks have been produced by our company since 1999. Our shelf rack system was developed from the palette shelf system as a response to the requirements from clients for racks with a lower load-bearing capacity and greater variability of the rack system. The same manner of assembling the racks remained from the previous system, i.e. the simple assembly of beams into the rack frame by means of perforated interlocking joints secured by an arrester against unwanted ejection. The shelf racks find their application everywhere where it is necessary to have convenient warehousing, such as a document archive, storage of materials, forms, goods, products, etc. The advantage of our solution of shelf racks lies in the fact that the client receives from us a solid and stable rack without the necessity for bracing. You can make certain of the quality of our racks for whole 10 years, which we provide as a guarantee for the quality and strength of our racks. What has changed compared with the palette rack? Compared with the palette shelf frame, the rack frame consists of two stands and cross bars which are welded in the joints. The resulting shelf rack frame is solid and light. The stands of the frame on the foot ends have the option of anchoring the frame to the floor of the warehouse. The beams are made of rolled profiles with hinges welded in the ends. The beams can have three hinge positions. The first is for assembling the beams with the height of the floor. The second, centric, is also the basic variant. The third, when the lock is attached to the top of the beam, is recommended to achieve the maximum use of the height of the shelf frame while assembling the rack. After assembling into the rack system, the beam is secured by the arrester against the ejection or outage of the beam. The board of the shelf is assembled into the set of rack frames and beams. The board of the shelf is produced in four variants. The first basic variant is where the board of the shelf is made from chipboard with a thickness of 18 mm. The second variant is with chipboard with upper lamination with a thickness of 18 mm. In the case of the third variant, the board of the shelf is made of metal sheet; the height of the sheet shelf is also 18 mm. The fourth variant of the shelf on the rack is made as a grid. The advantages and the use of individual types of shelf variants depend on the requirements and the demands of the client. The shelf rack set can be completed by a punched back for the connection of bar holders or to prevent the falling of small materials.
The basic module
of the shelf rack consists of two rack frames, beams and the board of the shelf. The shelf frame consists of two stands from a perforated rolled profile
which are linked by cross pieces made of rolled profiles in the horizontal and sloped position; the frame is welded in the joints.
The quantity of the cross pieces depends on the height of the rack frame. The horizontal cross pieces have a span of 1,000mm.
At the end of each stand there is a foot with a foot sheet for anchoring the rack frame to the floor from the warehouse.
The additional module
is the same as the basic module; it consists of one rack frame because the beams of the additional module are assembled into the basic module. This will save one rack frame per each additional module and, moreover, create rack rows which are more solid.
